Amisha Patel will star opposite Akshay Kumar in a forthcoming film produced by T-series.

The 'untitled' film will be directed by Priyadarshan and will also star Shiney Ahuja and Vidya Balan.

Ameesha says she is looking forward to this project as it was an exciting script and starcast with the ever dependable Priyadarshan at the helm and music giant T- series backing it.

The actress who made her debut opposite Hrithik Roshan in "Kaho Na Pyar Hai" six years ago, says she has been very selective lately, and had been waiting for the right project.

"I have signed another big banner film and will be making an announcement soon", she said while interacting with mediapersons recently.

"I always held Priyadarshan in the highest esteem. I was always looking forward to working with him. And this exciting project is a realization of my wish-list," she said.
